Spock’s Sanctuary offers an educational deep-dive into the world of herpetology. As a rescue-focused facility, the zoo provides a home for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates from across the globe. Visitors can meet and even hold some of the rescues while learning about their habitats and conservation needs. it is a practical lesson in biology and animal welfare, challenging our perceptions of “scary” creatures and fostering an appreciation for the biodiversity that exists beyond the mammalian world.
