Outdoor exploration is the primary focus at The Brenton Arboretum. The “Nature Club” (ages 2-5) and “Acorn Academy” (ages 6+) programs guide young learners through the “world beneath our feet.” Through experiments and games, students explore the biology of the forest floor. It is a vital early education in ecology and environmental stewardship, encouraging children to develop a lifelong curiosity about the natural world through hands-on interaction with the arboretum’s diverse tree collections.
