Spring Needle Felting

This workshop at Hoyt Sherman Place introduces the tactile art of needle felting—using specialized needles to sculpt raw wool into three-dimensional shapes. The “spring” theme allows students to create decorative fiber art inspired by the awakening season. It is a study in texture, patience, and 3D composition. Participants will learn the mechanics of fiber manipulation while enjoying a social, creative environment, walking away with a handmade piece of art that celebrates the craft traditions of the region.
