Watercolor Floral Composition Class

This workshop at Hoyt Sherman Place focuses on the delicate art of watercolor floral composition. Participants will study the principles of balance and negative space while learning to layer translucent washes of color. It is a technical exercise in patience and water control, using botanical forms as the primary subject. By the end of the class, students will have developed a deeper understanding of how to translate the fleeting beauty of a flower into a permanent, fluid work of art.
