Living History Farms offers a festive, history-themed egg hunt that spans the 500-acre outdoor museum. This event encourages families to explore the farm sites while children (divided by age group) search for hidden eggs. It is a study in active recreation and outdoor exploration, providing a wholesome, community-focused celebration of the spring holiday. With opportunities to visit the animals and learn about Iowa’s agricultural heritage, it is an ideal day of active learning for young students and their guardians.
