Folk Art Fair

In recognition of America’s 250th birthday, Living History Farms presents the inaugural Folk Art Fair. Over 30 artisans will demonstrate heritage skills and sell handmade items throughout the 1876 town of Walnut Hill. It is a living history curriculum, showcasing time-honored methods of smithing, weaving, and woodworking. Visitors can observe the labor and precision required for traditional crafts, gaining a deeper appreciation for the technical heritage that shaped Iowa’s cultural and economic landscape.
